TypeMap: Enneagram Test
Your Enneagram number is only part of the picture. TypeMap combines your Enneagram type with your instinct stack: the order of your Farmer (SP), Hunter (SX), and Teamer (SO) instincts.
You’ll respond to a series of statements and rank how much each one fits you. Some questions ask you to choose between two options.
The test takes 15 to 20 minutes. Your results show your Enneagram number and your instinct stack. A full profile report is available after the test.

Instinct Stack Test
The three instincts are:
Farmer (Self-preservation), Hunter (Sexual), and Teamer (Social).
This assessment identifies your full instinctual stack—your dominant, secondary, and tertiary instincts—and how they work together to shape how you approach work, decisions, and relationships.
Most approaches focus only on your dominant instinct (often called “subtype”). This assessment goes further by showing how each instinct plays a distinct role:
- Dominant – your natural contribution and where you gain energy
- Secondary – the environment you rely on and your fallback under stress
- Tertiary – your blind spot that requires more energy
There are no better or worse instincts. Each plays a critical role in how people and teams function. The goal is to help you understand how you’re wired so you can make more aligned choices in work and life.
Takes 3–5 minutes.
Youth Enneagram Test
A new version of The Art of Growth Enneagram Test specifically for youth and parents!
This test will bring you through a series of statements, and ask you to rank how much you (or your child) resonate(s) with them: “Rarely Me”, “Sometimes Me”, or “Often Me".

Typing Interview
If you're new to the Enneagram, or if you've taken an Enneagram test before but are unsure of your results, this is a great next step! Online tests are great, but they average around a 55-60% accuracy rate. Personality is best understood when observed by a person who deeply understands the tool.
This 60-minute session includes a typing interview, an overview of your Enneagram Type, Instinct Stack, and coaching tips. You can meet with Jim, Joel, or one of our AOG Approved Coaches. All Discovery Sessions are done over Zoom.
